IncrediPet was given birth as Pet Pantry in December of 1987. Forty-five days later, our first store opened on Southland Dr. I look back at the pictures of our humble beginnings and wonder, "how on earth did we make it"? The pet industry has changed so much in the last 25 years. I am truly overwhelmed by the variety of product that is available to us today versus the "plain and simple" approach that was offered such a short time ago.

Our business took off and our second location opened on Richmond Rd. in March of 1988. What a whirlwind, but we did it and here we are today, on the same streets just blocks from our original locations.

Over the years, our look has changed, our product mix has become more sophisticated and the services that we offer have and will continue to be what our customers desire. Are we the same store that opened 25 years ago? Absolutely not. Are we the same people? Many of us are. We started out being different and pride ourselves on trying to do business the old-fashioned way. Although everyone involved with IncrediPet comes from different backgrounds, with their own areas of expertise and interest, we all take great pride in our stores and continue to work hard to insure their success.

I'd heard through the pet industry grapevine that dog washes were popular in California and thought when we remodeled our stores, that it was one West Coast idea that might actually fly back in Kentucky. So we did our research and found the best tubs, and dryers and installed the dog wash into two of our stores. We do all the laundry, order all the shampoo and even provide a smock for you.
